Towngate Link – Phase 3, Leeds

Full Architectural Service for Design & Build Contractor to provide 1no. speculative industrial unit to complete the overall development of Towngate Link for Towngate PLC.

Towngate Link 5 represents the third and final phase in the overall development of Towngate Link and completed in July 2020. Following on from the extremely successful previous phases of Towngate Link, ‘TL5’ was to be the final piece of the development which would bring the development to completion.

With the design intent largely being the same as the previous phases, the intention was also to create something of a feature unit for the development due to its exposed location along Pontefract Lane. Along with the continued specification of high quality materials and products, TL5 also boasts a curved roof along with 2no. large curtain wall glazed corners towards the user entrance and Pontefract Lane plus a strong feature landscaping buffer parallel to the main road. As with the previous units, a tenancy was agreed early for TL5, meaning that every unit of this development was taken off the market before completion.

TL5 consists of a 14,500ft² warehouse plus 2,500ft² first floor office with associated core / amenities & undercroft space at ground floor level. TL5 stands 8m to the underside of haunch and consists of 4 level level access doors and associated yard space.

This site of 1.7 acres represents the final phase of the overall development (10.3 acres).
