The New Year has seen works continue to advance on our Mexborough Grange scheme for Roche Retirement Living Limited.
Following the Christmas break works were initially centred around completing the ground floor show apartment, including a full internal fit out and installation of fixtures and fittings.
With Practical Completion fast approaching the project has seen a real surge. External building works are almost complete, scaffolding has been struck and attention turns to finishing the interior and the external landscaping works. Progress on the upper floors is significantly advanced with many of the apartments now plastered ready for decorating. Installation of the kitchens has begun along with joinery items such as the skirting’s / architraves and the feature panelling within the corridors.
External works are underway to the rear of the building as progress begins to advance on the various private terraces with level access directly from ground floor apartments. A combination of contrasting paving, planting and timber trellising will define these spaces.
